I do absolutely... as I am not always correct... I am after all human, although I do spend time and efforttalking to experts at ACAS, Citizens Advice, the Inland Revenue to check my facts.
It is there to be questioned, and hopefully answered.... though I do suggest that contacting the unit directly may be useful.
There are indeed people advertising 60 quid self employed - and indeed they are banned from BAJR. this is not the case here, I have checked for suitable insurance, additional remunerations, etc...
normally a self employed person would be looking at charging 100 quid plus. This is however what one would term 'Casual' not a type of employment I like... however.. given the unique circumstance of the job AND the reasons given .. (which include the problem of not getting paid until end of August - if going the full employment route) led me to the conclusion, that with all things considered, the job did make the minimum requirements, and was a three month contract at that.! I would not accept it again - as once in exceptional circumstances is ok, but not to be repeated.
It is work, it is a decent ammount of time, and if people think it is illegal, then please do not hesitate to contact them or the relevant authourity (after all, I can be wrong)
I do also encourage people to question my actions, after all, I am but one person, but hope that BAJR is everyone.
