My consultancy has a fully paid for 3 course Xmas meal next week, with a coach laid on to ferry us from the pub to the Hotel where the do is, then back to town for a pub crawl. Only cost is ?3 for the coach. Xmas week the office shuts down so we have to take 3 days annual leave every xmas.
Other insults include a subsidied skiing holiday in Austria and now (just learned this today) I have to come back to a ?2k a year pay rise in the new Year.

had our site get together on Thursday and twas very good. Ate far too much, but worked it off on Friday by mattocking and shovelling all day, with silver party hats taped to our hard hats...

Although the GGAT staff are claiming that there was never any intention to stitch up the diggers, without BAJR having a quiet word they might just have done it anyway!
