Just had a look at petition and it's now passed the engineers and on about 1260 odd signitures. Definately need that formal letter Mr Hosty!

Well in June we can start formalising a letter that ensures what is said is in keeping with the directions and work carried out by IFA and CBA.. one voice and all that!!
I will be at a meeting in London looking at the Pay and Conditions issue.. so could raise it there and have something in time for the petition end...
Lets hope Old New Old Labour are listening

If anyoneis still interested, there are now over 1500 signitures and I am aware of people who are still getting around to signing. Rather impressive when you look at the other results aunder the jobs an employment petitions.

Good to see that it has now risen to 1651, I am sure we can get this number raised to at least 2000.
Come on tell your friends and colleagues and get them to sign up

The signature total is even more impressive when you consider that the last "Profiling The Profession" suggested that there were only 6800 people involved in professional archaeology. Nearly a quarter of the profession have signed up. :face-approve:

Much patting on the back to the signatories. Lets see if we are sufficiently over the 200 mark to warrant a response (whether from Brown or Blair.....
