Over the years diggers have often joked about a diggers olympics (javelin or ranging rod throwing etc),or we could stage our own version of Its a Knockout?
Don't know about awards but with some sites a campaign medal would be more appropiate!![8D]

NO.... seriously.
Wasn't thinking that way... but was thinking about recognition for ALL archaeological related sites.
Bajr members could vote on it or something. It would also have a link back to the Bajr site.
There are many deserving projects out there... schools, amateur archaeology organisations. The Bajr Oscars?

I actually think that once again you have hit on a great idea...
What would you suggest..?
People put forward a site... and every 2 months the votes for each one are counted... ? OR just a site gets nominated and people get to say YES or NO (private vote) so you could have scores of sites a year.. ?
