This in from Amanda Forster and the IfA
I am pulling together the next issue of The Archaeologist, in which we are spotlighting CPD, training and development. I would like to include a couple of pages of short tips for those seeking training.... something that can be difficult to achieve in whatever job you do.
Any ideas of innovative ways of boosting your CPD hours? What was the last training you did? Do you keep up a personal development plan, and log your CPD hours? Do you know of any good online training opportunities, or other types of free and accessible CPD? Are you an employer who has a great programme of training and some advice for fellow employers; or an employee who have found a useful way of being trained on the job?
Deadline is Feb 8th, with a bit of wriggle room.... If you are interested in providing something more in depth for the magazine, there is still a page or two to fill. I have included my email address below if you would rather send me something directly.
Thanks in advance!
