CARTOON REALITY Wrote:You'll be sorry you said that come Judgement Day. And kindly use the higher case when referring to the Duck Gods.
Ooo hadn't realised that there was multiple Duck Gods.
So are we talking
Pochard the god of plenty
Shoveller the god of hard work
Teal the terrible
Wigeon the wild
Ruddy god of laughter
ruled over by of course
Mallard the mighty

Death by pillow fight. HP Lovecraft wrote all about the eider gods -or was that was the elder gods? Chtonic Duck Gods. With tentacles.
My feeling about The Duck Gods is that they are nameless and mysterious, just occasional celestial quacks to remind us they exist.

Do they let forth a full but brief squark when an auroch stands on them?

I'm afraid we shall never know. They are an inscrutable sort.

So these inscrutable duck gods don't do much then, what's in it for their followers apart from crispy duck ( with plum sauce) on special occasions?

No, to eat the flesh of The Duck Gods would be folly.
Disciples are rewarded with shagging huge eggs accompanied by the ditties of Nick Drake.
And you're still using the lower case there Wax, you'll only have yourself to blame on the day of Quacknarok.
