I think one of the main problems in arch Gumbo is the problems with training and promotion. I was a horrible little capitalist once and the issue is that their is greater scope outside of archaeology to push youself, your talents and abilities. The pyramid structure of archaeology and 'making old bones',limits the scope of learning new tricks.[?]
